I know, two posts in one day! Crazy, huh!
I'd like to give a little shout out to my baby sister Jenna (Jen, do you love that or what!!!!), who ran the Nike Women's Half Marathon in San Francisco this past Sunday with a pace of slightly over 8 minutes/mile!!!! How amazing is that?
As an 11 minute miler myself (and even that isn't pretty), it seems simply impossible that you could run 13.6 miles so fast. I know lots and lots of bad things would happen to me if I even attempted that.
Let me add here that Jenna has run several marathons, so this was probably like a little jog to her! Whatever!
Anyway, I am so proud of her, and had to share it with you all.
Way to go, June! I love you!
Love,
Your big, old, fat sister -

She is very awesome, and I do like to brag about her running accomplishments, so here I will say once again, "Congratulations, you little brat! Love, your big, slightly older, but WAY fatter sister, Krissa!!!" :)
That is so great! I have so much respect for people who can run like that. The only way I could do it is if someone was running in front of me with a new Coach bag saying "Come and get it! Come and get it!" How pathetic is that?
